The meeting was called to order by Vice President, Philip Brown, MD. All of the participants were welcomed and there were 24 members in attendance. Executive Director Joe Kuns was also present. The LAAFP Member Meeting Minutes from the September 15, 2025 meeting were presented by Dr. Brown. He requested a motion to approve the minutes as printed in the agenda. It was moved, seconded, and approved without objection.
The 2025 Year End Treasurer’s Report was presented, and Dr. Brown requested a motion to accept the report. It was seconded and accepted unanimously.
Dr. Brown presented the names of the 2026 LAAFP Executive Committee and delegates and extended congratulations to new and returning members. Members were encouraged to register early for AMAM and reminded of financial aid opportunities for students and residents. There was a brief discussion regarding CAFP seeking guest speakers for the 2026 POP! conference in San Diego in August 2026.
